Even though the rain came in and moved her wedding indoors it was a great day. What a wonderful couple they are, Amy was just glowing on her wedding day- and Chris stayed, calm cool and collected. Okay- I've gone from being very fond of these two to absolutely LOVING these little guys!! They are the sweetest little angels!! Alex was so loving to me-letting me hold him.... I have to admit I went home with a little baby fever. Max was a total crack up- who knew an octopus could get such cute reactions from those two...and mom lol!
I feel so fortunate to be able to photograph their first year (going by a little too fast for me)

This is Michelle, it's really hard to believe I've known her since she was a very young girl (about 13 years old). She is a beautiful woman now with a wonderful personality. It was a lot of fun to work with her a couple of weeks ago at the Marietta Square. Click on her name to view more images.
I had the honor of meeting and photographing these two beautiful young ladies last week. Their cheerleader's season was finishing up and their Mom wanted to get a few images of the girls in their uniforms. I had so much fun with them- it was really easy to get beautiful shots of them, with them both being so naturally photogenic. They were both such good sports with being put through all of the poses- I think they were getting tired of me... Thanks for playing along with me Michelle and Gena, you're both wonderful!

Max and Alex are twins, born to one of my favorite couples, Connie and Scott. Their wedding was in December 2001, my baby was just 2 months old at the time and it was the first time I was out of the house by myself after my son was born. Now they have two of the sweetest little baby boys their own and they are experiencing their own joys of parenthood (x2!) Connie is one of those moms who lives and breathes for her boys. We both have a lot in common with our parenting philosophy but most of all we both just agree that soaking up every moment of being a mommy is the best reward of motherhood- there really is no better role in the world. This is the second time I've been privileged enough to photograph these little sweet boys. Both of the little ones have a great little personality- Max was very curious of me but cautious and little Alex was just totally a sweetheart who just loved to hear his mommy talk to him- he was trying so hard to have a conversation with her. Every time I see them I just feel so happy for Connie and Scott.
This was a joint effort with my friend Jennifer of Raejen Photography- we make a pretty good team- don't ya think? This little girl is so sweet and precious, full of life. We had a good time trying to capture her personality. Look for more soon.

One day last week I was reminded how blessed I am to have such a vibrantly optimistic child. My husband was re-doing the floor in our kitchen, so he took the big things and put them on the deck after Nathan was already in bed. The next morning I woke Nathan up to get ready for school and I told him he had to look at the kitchen- I told him he'd never seen it like this before. He walked into the kitchen and I said "look someone took our table, and our refrigerator and stove." Nathan rubbed his eyes and took only a moment to say "well, look on the bright side, at least we have lots of room now!" That's the way he is, always looking on the bright side of things. How lucky am I?
My little sweet boy has this song he sings at school and it is the cutest thing. It kinda embarrasses him cause he is this big tough boy hanging out with Daddy every day after school so he only sings it when I bribe him. The other night- after bribing him with his favorite luxury *falling asleep in my bed* I was able to video him singing part of it- you can see it here- be prepared to laugh so cute and sweet.
