Jack and Rachelle's Wedding 07-07-07

  • Bbb
It is SUCH a pleasure to photograph a wedding when the bride and the groom are both crazy about each other. I think you can tell what a great couple they are from the photographs. It was so much fun! Their wedding was at Christ the King in Atlanta and the reception was at Anthony's. Everything was just beautiful.

Happy birthday to me.

Image_007aFor my birthday- My sweet husband and son gave me a really pretty bouquet of flowers.  I love daisies.   I got a few goodies for myself from papertrey.com- they have the most wonderful stamp sets that can be used a million different ways.  Please, check them out if you haven't already.  I have the text boxed, the borders and corners rectangles and hearts.  I would love to have about 200$ more of the sets but I'd have to ebay some older stuff first.   My sister in law, Kathy gave me a couple of stampin' up sets along with two new colors from their recent release and my mom gave me a new set I wanted from SU too.  I'm so happy- I'm rolling around in stamp heaven!

poor baby!!

Image_326Well- we had an very eventful fourth! We went to Fripp for the fourth. Our friends- Robert and Tabitha (*aka Saint Tabitha*) went with us.  First day we had fun- pool, beach and bocce ball.  As we were winding down the evening, Robert & Tabitha decided they wanted to go look at the golf course that they were excited to play the next day.  The two of them went on the golf cart, as he turned to the left and she went right off the golf cart!  She hit her shoulder and hip pretty hard but her head apparently took a hardest hit.  She got a laceration that needed stitches, so off to the ER she went... then came the cat scan- she had fractured her skull and had a sub dural hematoma!  She and Robert were really given a scare- she was sent to Savannah hospital where she spent a day in the neuro-ICU. Fortunately, she was given the okay to leave to go home to Atlanta on Friday. Poor thing, she slept all the way home.   Hope you are feeling better Tabitha and watch our for those left turns!

Favorite photograph of the week.

Image_069I found this Gullah women in an art gallery in South Carolina this past weekend.  I was there helping Jen and Jennifer photograph a wedding at Palmetto Bluff near Hilton Head.  http://www.palmettobluffresort.com/accommodations/cottages.shtml it is so nice and luxurious,  I would love to stay there.  We had fun even though we worked all day Saturday and suffered the heat and the gnats at the same time.  The bride and groom were a very lovely couple and both the wedding and the reception were beautiful.  Everywhere you turned there was something interesting to photograph.  I'll have more photos later.  This one is my fav. right now.
